| The title of Drama Queen never belonged to anyone more deserving than Ino. Actually, the phrase Drama Queen is not enough to fully describe Ino’s dramatic and over-the-top nature. She can make even the tiniest thing (a chipped nail, for example) seem like it came straight from Broadway.
Don’t let Ino’s dramatic tendencies fool you. Too much.
Ino’s also the kind of girl that can, and most definitely will, throw a temper tantrum at the thought of not getting something exactly her way. Sure, she’s seventeen years older than the typical temper-tantrum-thrower, but that doesn’t keep her from letting everyone know exactly how displeased she is at something not going her way. And trust her, if she won’t get her way that moment, you’ll be begging for her to leave you alone once she starts messing with your head. She’s good at that.
And while those tiny little flaws in Ino’s otherwise flawless personality (she’s perfect, she’ll swear it), she’s actually a smart (surprise, surprise, the high-maintenance, blonde chick has a brain), sweet, caring, if not a little demanding (okay, a lot) kind of gal.
There’s more to the smart, beautiful, enchanting, wonderful, utterly perfect being that is Ino, of course. She’s a princess, but she’s the kind of princess a little closer to the ground. A dedicated friend, she’ll do everything for her BFFs, from arranging a bouquet they should send to their should-be girlfriend (some of her girl friends never took her advice, and don’t get her started on Shikamaru) or being personal cheerleader and moral-support (Chouji needs someone to remind him that eating pounds of meat at one time is definitely unhealthy), or even staying up and sacrificing hours of beauty sleep for any sort of crisis that was bound to creep up in the middle of the night.
Just don’t anger the girl. Ino has the kind of temper to make even a raging, psychopathic serial killer with no sense of good or evil pee his pants. Not only will she try and proceed to kick your ass, she’ll manage to play mind games with you that will leave you reeling and asking for a kick in the face. | Born and bred in New York City, Ino was the daughter of an affluent family that had tea parties in The Plaza and held socials in the Hamptons. She lived a wonderfully carefree life, where everything was spoon fed to her and she was treated as the princess of the castle that was their two-floor condo in the Upper East Side.
She had the perfect life.
Till Mom died.
Ino had been too young to understand that cancer, if not treated immediately after diagnosis, if not found on time and fought on time, there was little hope for survival. In Ino’s world of pink and princesses and Prince Charming, where there were floating castles and all the amount of money in the world, cancer didn’t exist.
But it did, and it took her mother.
She was lucky that her father had loved her mother and had loved Ino enough to not let the death devastate him completely and keep him from neglecting his only daughter. In fact, it was probably because of the death of Ino’s mother that they grew so close, and that Princess Ino became Daddy’s Little Princess.
Life continues. It has to.
People felt sorry for her, but Ino didn’t notice. She was too busy acting (maybe that’s where the passion came from?) that nothing had really changed. Sure, there was no pretty woman to sing her to sleep or tuck her in at night, but school continued, tea parties with Mr. Bear and Unicorn-Lady still went on, and in time, the memories blurred and that pretty woman was no longer Mom, but a fuzzy face tucked away in the folds of her mind.Ino managed to pursue her dream of acting when she got into LaGuardia High School of the Arts. She worked her butt (and arm and kidney) off doing well while juggling a job at her father’s tiny side-hobby, also known as his flower shop. She graduated in the top fifteen percent of her class and got a seat in the prestigious Julliard School.
With only one more year to go before bidding the place goodbye, Ino’s intent on becoming the next greatest actress the world has ever seen. | Checkers
